nomination for an
outstanding person or organization that has
made a significant impact in your community
by supporting nonprofit organizations and
philanthropy.
Award winners will be
recognized at the
2012 National Philanthropy Day in Colorado
on November 9, 2012 at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel at the
Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
National Philanthropy Day is the special day set
aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions
that philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic
community – have made to our lives, our communities,
and our world. Celebrations are held annually in many
states across the nation.
Nomination Process
The nomination process is simple. Just complete the
enclosed nomination form, answer the narrative questions,
and submit it with two letters of support. Additional
nomination forms, detailed instructions, and suggestions
for a strong application can all be found below. Please note that you should not
send a cover letter or any other supplemental materials;
in fact, extra attachments will not be considered as
part of the nomination.
All nominations must be postmarked,
faxed or submitted electronically by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday,
July 11, 2012.

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges comprised
of community leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit
sectors, and past award recipients.

The selection process will take place in mid August
and all nominators will be contacted by phone or mail

year’s luncheon to honor the awardees will be held
